I have a two-year-old AKC registered neutered male golden retriever, up to date on shots. He was groomed recently and has a summer haircut. He is needing to be re-homed because my two-year-old son has been sick for the last two years and we FINALLY figured out it's the dog. He's allergic. We have no choice but to re-home him.

There's a few things to know about Spike. He's very, very sweet, but has not been trained to be an indoor dog, although he has spent some time inside. He gets extremely excited whenever people are around, but in a sweet way; never aggressively. He will jump up on you, follow you around, and loves other dogs, as my sister has two that he plays with for now. We have two cats that are indoor cats, so they never socialized too much, but when they were around each other, there only seemed to be playful behavior.

We want Spike to find a family who is willing to work with him and be patient because he has been mostly outdoors and has not had a lot of one-on-one attention he deserves due to my son's illnesses. His manners need work, definitely. He still likes to dig a few holes now and then, but he is very, very smart and would learn quickly if the proper family could spend time with him. After my grandmother died, I inhierited her elderly poodle. I now have 3 dogs and cannot keep them all. Of the 3, the retriever/lab mix has the sweetest disposition and I feel would make a transition to a new home very easily. Her name is Bonnie and she is black with long hair. She is 1 1/2 and is close to 50 lbs. She loves to go for walks and is a very 'gentle' walker...No yanking or pulling! A good sam had dropped off a small tabby kitten at St. Francis Vet Clinic a couple weeks ago and is ready to be adopted!!
He is 7 wks old and is very cute.(as all kittens are.)
We call him Broken, due to his broken leg. The fracture, dr's believe, is too old to operate on and fix and doing so may complicate his situation.
But that have told me, several times, that he should grow up to look and behave like a normal cat.
He is going through a small rehabilitation process and is walking on his leg.

Free kittens.
I have two black kittens that are about 8 weeks old. They are litter trained and are currently being scratching-post trained. One of the girls has slightly longer fur with a more downy feel to it. The other is more of a domestic short hair.
I had trouble getting them to sit for a picture but hopefully these photos will suffice (ask for pictures, sorry, on other PC @ home).
They are very socialized, sweet, and playful. Neither of them have had shots or sterilization surgery. Proof of a prepaid spay/shot vet visit would be required at home visit. I've been feeding them Hill Country Fair's Dinner Time for Cats brand cat food which they seem to really like. They are also very into cat nip, so cat nip laced toys and scratch posts are recommended for training. With the kittens I will provide a 12lb bag of food and a bag of kitty litter to help facilitate the new happy owner.

A few weeks ago was an incident but it was outside parking lot and I gave them the benefit or did not hold them responsible since it was outside. BUT today was the last of it. I am talking about LaFiesta on Marbach between Pinn & Military. It is infested with cockroaches. I mentioned it to Produce guy since the cockroachs were wondering on the can goods as I enterd the store. BUT he said that I had to go and tell the Cashiers or someone else because he was UNABLE to help me!! LOL! So, I walked out and will not shop there anymore.
Obviously there is no control. Sanitation is not in their vocabulary. I have heard of a few people having to take meat back because it smells really bad so after this incident it only makes me think that the store is in worse condition in the back where public cannot see. I am very disgusted to say the least and just want to know if anyone else had such horrible experience.
