Job Description: Computer based customer service position in e-commerce gift company. Temporary position terminating at the end of 2008. Great resume building experience working with the owner of an internet retail business. If you enjoy working in a small, open, informal and friendly environment, then this could be the position for you.
Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
Experience: 3 - 6 months operating a computer in a Windows based environment.
Qualities and Skills:
Computer Savvy - competence in MS Office Applications, Internet Explorer, Quickbooks
Communication Skills - Ability to communicate effectively via email / phone with customers in a friendly, helpful manner. Good writing skills and a mastery of the English language required.
E-commerce, Online Marketing, Retail Experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
Correspondence with customers via email and phone, handling questions, comments, and complaints
Receive and process paperwork for incoming orders
Maintain schedule of advance orders and Month Clubs
Maintain email lists
