USAA is currently seeking a talented Part Time Insurance Counselor for our San Antonio, TX location.

As a Part Time Insurance Counselor for USAA, you will provide policy service to members for existing auto and property policies requiring licensure. You will contribute to property and casualty business goals through cross selling and relationship building initiatives.

Qualified candidates need to possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant customer service experience and/or completion of 60 college credit hours and/or successful completion of a military enlistment contract or minimum service obligation or 1 year of relevant customer service experience plus completion of 30 college credit hours.
• Current general recording agent's license or ability to obtain license within 3 attempts (licensing training provided).
• Strong communication, critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in a Windows operating environment.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and successfully manage detail-oriented work.
• Availability to work Monday - Friday 3pm- 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am - midnight. 20 hours a week. Must also be flexible to work holidays.

Preferred experience includes:

• 2 years of customer contact experience in a relationship building environment.
• Call center experience.
• Experience cross selling or up-selling products.
