I love this speaker. It has served me well over time. It sounds as good now as it sounded back when I bought it. It's never been over used or abused. It was the brain of my speaker setup until I upgraded to the S-Series for the fronts and moved it to rear center channel position, which means it stopped getting much attention. Irregardless, I don't have room now for a 6 or 7 speaker setup and I really don't have room to store a spare center channel speaker. So my loss is your gain. Just, please give it a good home.
In a 5.1 surround sound set up, it's the speaker that sits above or below your television and produces most of the sound like dialog and the most dramatic sounds in a movie or video game. In a 5 speaker setup you'll have a center, two fronts ( a right and a left speaker ) and two back speakers, called surrounds. ( also left and right ) so again this is a center channel speaker. it's quite large ( not terribly big but a good size ) and it produces a nice clean sound Thanks for looking.
