For Sale 2007 Yamaha R-1, 1000cc, 6 speed. Rare color gun metal charcoal grey was only produced in 2007. I get compliments all the time, it�s the closest color to black without the swirl marks and finger prints. First of all this R1 is CLEAN, it�s in excellent condition, 1 owner, everything works like it should, paint is original and shiny, all tags in place and only has 7k miles. O.K. here we go. This is an 04 Hayabusa with 9,200+ miles. It's been adult owned and never raced, wrecked or dropped. It's inspected and I have clean Texas title in hand. I wanted to build a daily driver that could do a little bit of everything. That's the basics now the fun stuff.
It has a Zex nitrous system with a wide open throttle trigger. The system is fail safe with two relays that arm it at 7500rpm and shut off at redline. It has a switch to change from a straight motor map to the NO2 map without having to reprogram. The nozzle is set directly into the airbox for less lag and a 40 shot pill. The whole system is programmable, fast and safe.
I stripped off the decals and painted everything black. There wasn't any damage I just don't like riding on a billboard. There are some scratches & dings but you have to look pretty close to find them. I wanted to keep it as subtle as possible, so the electronics, compressor and tanks are all under the hump. The exhaust has a great sound but doesn't scream "LOOK AT ME". It's an Arata full Titanium system which is one of the best on the market for weight and performance.
The bike is lowered 1" in front stretched 8" and has a DaPincci dual chamber air ride. You can adjust preload and rebound, drop it for the strip or raise it for a thick passenger. (I'm not judging, I'm just saying...) The stretch is long enough to keep the front end down but short enough to do Limecreek. It's not exactly nimble but it can be done.
I drained all the fluids at the beginning of the summer. I put in full synthetic oil and Engine Ice. The bike can sit in traffic in August and the temp doesn't get above 3/4.

Pulled these True Duals off my 99 Road King. They perform perfectly (torque & power). They should be cleaned up a bit and have a few scratches. Never in an acident.

Team Rinehart/BUB did not stop their quest for power without addressing the unique requirements of the FL rider. They designed, tested and built exhausts until they had a multi-step header with a "True Dual" design that makes the same power gains as their Softail/Dyna systems. Along with the across-the-range power increase, you get the style of 2 1/4" heat shields that flow into 3 1/2" muffler bodies capped off with black billet aluminum signature end caps.

This bike is awesome. Why buy a bike that everyone else rides? Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki's are everywhere. Have been to several bike nights and have never seen another Daytona 675. Always turns heads. Tires are fairly new and just dumped Silkolene oil in for a quick responding ride. If you know anything about Triumph's Triple, you will know what this bike can do. Bike has never been "wheelied" or "stunted". Not in to that kind of thing. This bike will handle a hell of a corner with the high centered seating and very light weight. Weather is just starting to turn great for riding. Check it out for yourself - NADA is $6500. Will throw in a Triumph street jacket xl - $250 and a KBC Airborne 2 -lg. No trades. No financing.
