IT services company must place a very experienced contract Project Manager to manage a large program for the City of San Antonio (COSA). The Technology Services Department will be deploying an enterprise plant maintenance solution. In 2004 the City of San Antonio deployed SAP as their Enterprise Resource Planning solution. The core modules, Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Purchasing and Budget models were deployed and the next module to be deployed is SAP’s plant maintenance. Plant Maintenance (PM) will provide functionality for managing work requests (work orders), equipment, and facilities (buildings and grounds). The PM implementation will bring about consistent methods for scheduling routine maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and projects. PM also provides users with real-time costing of work orders and integrates with SAP FI, HR/Payroll, and MM modules.
We are looking for a project manager for the initial deployment of SAP’s Plant Maintenance module for the City of San Antonio. The selected person will be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of this project. The requirements are shown below. Minimum Requirements:
Skills/Experience
7Years Experience with project management.
7Years Experience with information system implementation and acceptance testing.
7Years Experience interfacing with all areas affected by the project including stakeholders, program/business/relationship managers, vendors and end users
7Years Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7Years Exceptional ability to develop and deliver presentations.
7Years Strong facilitation skills.
7Years Ability to engage client executives.
Preferences:
Skills/Experience
5Years Knowledge of Six Sigma a plus.
5Years Project management certification
3Years Knowledge and experience with implementing SAP plant maintenance module
Services are expected to start approximately August 18, 2008 and go through May 29, 2009. Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed 1640 hours. This service may be amended, renewed and/or extended providing both parties agree in writing to do so.
COSA may include pre-selection requirements that candidates must submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law.
