Looking for Break Fix Technician to work within major financial institution. Please review the following requirements:
Required:
1. CompTIA A+ Certification (2003 version) or CompTIA A+ Essentials plus CompTIA A+ 220-602 (2006 version)
2. CompTIA Network+ Certification
3. HP Proliant Server repair
4. Minimum 3 Years experience in HP Proliant Server Servicing
5. Fluent in English
6. Basic operation of Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003 and, if implemented at the customers site during the course of this contract, Windows Server 2008.
Desirable:
1. Basic operation of Linux operating system
2. Have knowledge of installing and upgrading software
3. Have knowledge of data restoration processes and procedures
Capable of achieving Platform (Dell, IBM) Certification when required within a 45 day period
Communicate issues to team lead
Responsible for the repair of a variety of Servers running various versions of Microsoft Windows from the following vendors but not limited too IBM, Dell and HP/Compaq.
Responsible for installing base images and other applications when required
Responsible for all depot activity at their assigned site
Scope of work:
Service Level agreement of 1hr, 2hr, 4hr and next business day resolutions
On demand trouble resolution
Perform administrative and logistical duties.
Capture asset info, and report back on database differences of equipment (model/serial/quantities).
