The purpose of the study is to assess the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication compared to placebo (an inactive substance).

Inclusion requirement:
· Male or Female
· 18 years of age or older
· Diagnosed with OA of the knee
· Meet study-related pain levels and health criteria

Qualified participants will receive:
· Study related medical care
· Study medicine
