Volunteers are needed to serve as Team Leaders for our City Year's Young Heroes program. Volunteers will:

Lead a team of 10-12 diverse Heroes participants in community service, team building, learning activities, and reflection exercises
Fully participate in all Heroes Program activities including up to 15 Saturdays of learning and service from December through May
Serve alongside a diverse team of City Year corps members and other community volunteers
Participate fun and interactive leadership trainings
Create lasting and meaningful relationships with middle school or high school students
Meet and working with other Team Leaders and Team Leader Assistants
Engage and connect with people who are working to make a positive difference in our community
Visit and serve all over the San Antonio area.
Serve as a positive role model to Heroes youth participants and to the communities in which you serve
Participate in a reward experience where you will learn valuable lessons from a group of middle school students that you will never forget
