VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We are the Animal Welfare Society of Bandera County (AWSBC); We maintain, take care of, and adopt out cats at the Pet Adoption Centers located at the PetsMart store on Loop 410/LaCima and Loop 410/151. We are in desperate need of Loving and Caring people to help with cleaning cat cages, scooping litters, and giving the cats/kittens fresh food and water on a daily basis. Taking care of these babies is an every-day job, holidays included; HOWEVER, cleaning only takes about two hours each day. Sometimes, maybe even three hours. But if you can spare a few hours a week, every week, that would help tremendously, and your rewards will be shown in the love and purrs that these wonderful babies give you in return. We also could use volunteers to become foster parents to adoptable animals that are waiting for space in the adoption centers, need to be cared for temporarily for rehabilitation.
