While it works fine, the freezer only has one shelf and the basket at the bottom. You may be able to find more shelves online.
I have never used the icemaker, but I think that it functions, because when you put the arm down you can hear it whirring every few hours. So I think if the waterline was installed it would make ice, but I don't know for sure. Additionally, I have never used the water and ice dispenser on the door. But again when you press them in you can hear the machinery whirring, so I believe that they would work if a waterline was hooked up. I have never had a waterline hooked up to it.
