Keith Llewellyn deCarlo, the Panamanian-American artist, was born in 1925 and died in 1981. “Horses” is an authorized, licensed and signed graphite by him and this litho has its authentication still attached to its verso. deCarlo’s works are widely collected and known for their playful Modernist stylization using linear contoured black lines w/selective well-placed expressions of vivid colors along w/white and grey tones.
