This is a 1921 Freeman Model B phonograph from Nashville, TN. The Freeman Talking Machine Co was founded in 1918 but burnt down in 1922. This machine has the original receipt from 1921 , where it was bought for $175. There is a photo of the original flyer offered by Freeman, showing the four models offered by the company. The machine is in excellent condition apart from the green felt on the turntable, the original is on there but could do with being updated. The phonograph comes with two original tins of steel needles and one of wooden ones. It also has 5 albums (47 records) of original 78's from the 1920's. All apart from 2 are in absolute mint condition. (Two have tiny cracks). This includes two with original sleeves and one , an incredibly rare 'blue' record! See photo for list. This is an amazing find and very rare, particularly with the original receipt. My wife inherited it but with a cat, we can't display it for fear of it being scratched. A true antique just waiting for someone to appreciate it.
