A beautiful 6 drawer flat file wood cabinet that was prominently displayed and used in an architectural office until it was moved into storage. Age is unknown, but an internet search of similar style, shape and wood examples gives an impression of early 20th century.
5 top drawers are 3’ deep, of a all wood construction.
The bottom drawer is 8” deep, and is also of all wood construction.
Drawer are 50 ½” x 32” in size
The cabinet body is 52 ½” x 34 ¼” in size.
And a top that extends beyond the cabinet body and with 2” high wood trim “Lip” along the back edge.
The cabinet unit height is 39 ¼” tall.
The cabinet is very fragile to move and disassembled in Base (with Casters), Body in two pieces.
But, when assembled, the cabinet is a very nice piece of furniture.
Was purchased 20 years ago for $4,500.00 from an reputable antique dealer and was not moved and treated gently.
Moved to storage after office downsized due to COVID and staff started working remotely.
