The metal box is in excellent condition for being 70 years old. There are no dents and only a few tiny spots of light rust. Internal paper insert is in very good condition.
The original PyrexTM beaker has a small, one inch hair-line crack near the lip. There are five original PyrexTM test tubes, three with cork stoppers, all in excellent condition.
There are still a few original labels in the label box, cover glasses in the cover glass box and fish scales (65+ years old) in the fish scale box! There are still original chemicals in many of the vials. New Glass slides included.
The microscope is in good condition and all the lenses still work. There is an added external light source that runs on 2 āDā batteries (not included). It still works!
The original manual is the one copyrighted in 1938 and is in excellent condition for age. No tears and no bent or missing pages. Minimal writing of owner's scientific notes in the back note section.
