Antique Medicine Show Photo — “Free Concert To-Night” Pizaro Cactus Juice Compound c.1920
Measures
15”x18”
Rare framed vintage photograph advertising the Pizaro Cactus Juice Compound and its traveling medicine show band.
The banner reads “FREE CONCERT TO-NIGHT — PIZARO,” and the photo shows a full uniformed brass band with their instruments — a classic example of early 1900s American medicine-show promotion.
“Pizaro Cactus Juice Compound” was sold as a tonic said to “stimulate the liver and kidneys,” and these concerts were used to attract crowds for product demonstrations.
📸 Sepia-tone photo, beautifully framed under glass.
🪶 Estimated date: circa 1910–1920
🖼 Frame shows light age wear consistent with age.
🎺 Perfect display piece for collectors of antique advertising, Americana, or early entertainment ephemera.
