This brilliant Torch Red Hot Rod features an all-steel cab, hood and bed with fiberglass fenders. The cab has numerous modifications including a 1946 Ford windshield and is mated to a 1937 Ford passenger hood, grille, front fenders and head lights. Passenger car rear fenders were also modified to fit the bed to give the truck a more rounded look to match the front. The bed is complete with a custom oak bed with stainless strips. The truck is motivated by a highly detailed rebuilt 283cid and Turbo 350 transmission. Mustang II style front suspension and an 8' Ford rear end attached by leaf springs give this truck a smooth ride and original boxed frame. The 18' and 20' Billet Specialties wheels help the truck achieve its Hot Rod stance. The vibrant red color flows over into the simple, yet classy interior. Vintage Air A/C Added. A tilt column with a red 1940s style Ford steering wheel, custom console and custom stereo complete the inside of the truck. This truck is a pleasure to drive down the highway or just sit and admire exceptional details. It is also a 2011 GoodGuys award winner.
