Blessings to you my friend and I am glad to make your acquaintance! We are heartbroken to sale what I have been referring to as my “dream vehicle”, but seasons in life change and so I have to as well! After my research this is the nicest Excursion on craigslist, Offerup or Facebook marketplace.
Before I dive into this listing I want to throw this out there; if you are looking for perfect vehicle that will drive like a modern day luxury vehicle please keep on looking and DO NOT waste my or your time with silly questions.
This vehicle is for the discerning buyer who knows about these Goliaths, the largest production vehicle ever made for a consumer!
EXTERIOR - PERSONAL RATING 8.5/10
* Newer tires (Pathfinder All Terrains LT285/70R17)* Upgraded towing mirrors with functional electronics
* Front and rear after market steel ranch hand bumpers
* Front after market steel ranch hand bumper with hitch and push bar
* Rear after market steel ranch hand bumper
* LED fog lights installed on bumper but not hooked up to electronics
* Powder coated underneath to prevent rust
* Suspension upgraded from a Ford F350 (which looks awesome)
* Backup camera
* LED lights underneath with control beneath the steering wheel and on the keychain
INTERIOR - PERSONAL RATING 8/10
* Aftermarket stereo pioneer deck AVX-211EX with an aftermarket 10” subwoofer and phone connection* Front row seats have a few tears and are showing some wear but overall in good condition
*Second row seat has normal wear and tear but no rips. These are not captains chairs but the bench seat which means you can fit 8 people in this people mover
*Third row seat is great shape as well! Pack up your family and go!
*In the picture taken from the rear, you will see that the tire is exposed. I will be reinstalling the original carpeted tire cover.
MECHANICAL - PERSONAL RATING 8.5/10
* Spark plugs and coil packs replaced with FORD OEM specs 01/2022* Serpentine belt replaced 01/2022
* Alternator replaced 11/2022
* Starter replaced 04/2023
* Front brakes, rotors and hardware replaced 05/2022 (under warranty from Brake Check)
* Rear brakes, rotors and hardware replaced 07/2023
* Pennzoil Synthetic oil replaced every 5000 miles and topped off as needed
* Fuel injection service accomplished 10/2023
SUMMARY
As I stated again, I would not hesitate one second to load up my family and travel across country in this giant of a vehicle. Because of the lift on this and the off-road tires, this Excursion will get between 10-11mpg on the open highway and it averages about 9mpg around the city. If you are looking for fuel economy, this is NOT the vehicle for you!The only reason we are selling this vehicle is because we are selling our travel trailer and now are doing more tent camping with our ministry. Believe me or not :), we would keep it if we could!
