For sale: A rare, all original TEAC A-3340S 10” reel-to-reel professional tape deck capable of 4-channel, stereophonic and monophonic recording and playback, with Simul-Sync function, and offering operating speeds of 15 ips and 7.5 ips. Can be used for mastering at 15ips. It will accommodate both 10.5” reels and 7” reels. Two 10.5” reels are included with tape along with 2 original locking hubs and its original 8’ detachable power cord. It also has a connection for a remote control and timer control
along with 4 mic inputs, 2 phone outputs and 4 RCA line ins and 4 RCA line outs on back panel.
This unit is very clean, with little wear for its age and built like a tank. The stainless steel front plate is clean and in excellent condition. The wood sides are in great shape aside from a few small chips only at the very bottom. The controls, rollers and case itself are all in vgc. All 4 VU meters light up equally and function. Note: two of four black plastic slide switches where the ends are broken off and are easily replaced. All four still work.
Overall in great condition and very low wear for it’s age and seems to have been used and then put away for a long time. Now ready for its second life!
