Excellent video & audio, random MP3 playability, Zoom feature. Slim design and metal case. Digital front panel readout is very clear and has a great remote.
After trying several DVD players - JVC, Panasonic, Pioneer - the SD2800 was the best for the price and features when new. Picture is superb with either composite or S-Video o/p. Also has Picture enhancements. The remote works very well. Remote w/ new batteries and S-Video cables included.
Equipped with virtual Surround sound feature, if you need it. MP3 playability with random feature is really good. Is anybody tired of being able to see only about 1/2 of the TV screen when watching a DVD in wide screen? Well the zoom feature resolves this by resizing the picture in increments up to the full screen if you have a normal non-widescreen TV. Zoom to a nearly full screen and it's an acceptable compromise. Has all inputs and outputs you'll need - optical, RCA, S-Video. Easy installation. All in all an awesome player for the money!
