We are looking for a Cook at our quick service concept with the Food Service Company at the University of Texas Health Science Center. A growing campus dining facility is looking for a positive, hard working person for a full time Cook.
*Candidate must have experience in high volume food prep and production.
*Must have an understanding of HAACP/food safety guidelines. Food handlers/ServSafe certificate is a plus.
*Candidate must be able to pass a background check.

The hours are Monday through Friday, 6-2:30pm. Holidays and weekends off.

Primary Responsibilities include:
- Serve and prepare food
- Be able to serve food in an open kitchen format where customer interaction may be necessary
- Must be able to follow recipes and specifications for production, seasoning and plate presentation
- Keep work area tidy, clean, and organized
- Follow company procedures when preparing food in compliance with health codes
- Other duties as assigned
