The Silver Appleyard is a large heavyweight duck breed used for both meat and eggs
Expect large white eggs as low as 120 to as high as 270 eggs per year.
They can get up to 6lbs at 9 weeks, hens are around 7lbs drakes 9lbs
Good foragers, easy to manage, tend to stay close to home.
will go broody eventually and can raise a clutch of 8-12 ducklings
