Please stop flagging my post. I am trying to sell these very rare chickens. I am not doing anything against the rules. I live in San Antonio and am raising rare breeds and crosses to make money. This is not a scam. I did use ai to help me write this post but I am not a scam. What’s the point of using Craigslist if legitimate people keep having posts taken down? If you have questions about my breeds just message me don’t flag my post.
Anyways….
These chicks weren’t part of my plan — they’re the result of a heartbreaking raccoon attack… and a bit of genetic magic.
I had a small flock of Putih Ayam Cemani (white-feathered but with the black skin, black beak, and dark bones of the ultra-rare Ayam Cemani) and a pair of Japanese Onagadori (famous for their long, flowing tail feathers). A raccoon broke in and wiped out nearly everyone — the only survivors were two rare white Cemani hens and my Onagadori cockerel. (His name is Ronin since he is a widower and has no master.)
That unexpected pairing produced a tiny batch of chicks that are truly one of a kind.
🪶 What makes these birds special?
The Putih Ayam Cemani is incredibly rare — only about 1 in 10 chicks from black Cemani parents carry the recessive white-feather gene.
These babies are already showing black skin, black beaks, and some had strange, tuxedo-like patterns.
If any of these are male, they may develop dramatic tail feathers like their Onagadori father.
It’s possible that this is the first time a cross like this has happened. Every chick is a genetic wild card — they’re beautiful, weird, and completely unrepeatable.
💵Cash Only baby chicks are cheaper than the older birds and I’ll make deals for multiple birds.

📸 Look at the photos — they’re adorable and just a little bizarre. Some look like they’re wearing tuxedos and white gloves. I’m including a tophat while supplies last.
I’m a full-time grad student at TAMUSA earning my Master’s in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling, and I’m breeding rare birds to help cover tuition and my student loans. So no, they’re not cheap. But every dollar supports future mental health work. I have other rare breeds and crosses that I will be selling once they hatch. I am currently building a larger incubator.
Email or message if interested. Serious homes only — and absolutely no raccoons!
