1-Youngest male just turned a year old
1- pair of 3 year olds ( second year laying/breeding )
1 -pair of 2 year olds ( didn’t start laying this season )
1 older female ( unsure on age but she’s got vision issues and the younger male has shown a bit of interest in her, I’d love for them togo together)
$1200 each pair firm!
These babies have been pastured with goats, llamas, chickens and ducks
They are very protective when it comes to new animals coming in so you will have to slowly introduce a new chicken/duck
Dogs they will chase out of a pasture
Bobo is the friendliest she’s the 2 year old female
The old lady is also friendly but bobo will be in your lap if you let her
Males come up but perfer not to be messed with
The 3 year old female is tame but she would also prefer not to be touched
They have done great in a 5ft tall fence
At the beginning of breeding season they do get a bit rough and some times scare me on if they are going to jump over the fence but no one has jumped it yet
If they find a weak spot I could definitely see them climbing right over it
So if your interested in emus I’d definitely recommend checking your fence before buying
