Position Overview:
We are looking for motivated and experienced laborers and operators to support our excavation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating excavation machinery and a strong work ethic. This role requires both physical labor and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of excavation sites, including preparing and clearing the site.
• Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an excavator operator or in a similar role.
• Valid operator’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., CDL, Heavy Equipment Operator Certification).
• Strong understanding of excavation and construction practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Previous experience with various types of machinery and tools is a plus.
