OPERATIONS DESCRIPTION:
-Operates a box truck to transport Home Appliances, Furniture and/or Construction Materials.
-Picks up and delivers the applicable items to the correct destinations in a timely manner and based on routing specifications.
-Interacts with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
-Operates Pallet Jack to move, stack and unstack pallets from one location to another.
-Maintains accurate and legible delivery records for accurate payout.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
❗️Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
❗️Proven experience as a box truck driver or similar role
❗️Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws
❗️Excellent time management and organizational skills
❗️Strong communication and customer service skills
❗️Ability to work under minimum supervision.
❗️Demonstrates strong work ethic, integrity, and a high level of attention to details.
❗️BAD BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND TEAM WILL BE DISMISSED IMMEDIATELY ON FIRST STRIKE.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
Must be able to walk, bend, reach, climb, and lift 70 pounds or more. The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this position.
-Frequent driving and getting in and out of the vehicle.
-Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
-Frequent walking, climbing, bending stooping, reaching and lifting 60 pounds or more.
