Role Overview:
This position is for hands-on irrigation work. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing irrigation systems while maintaining quality and professionalism on-site.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues
• Program controllers and set proper irrigation schedules
• Repair and replace broken sprinkler heads, valves, and pipes
• Identify and fix stations that are not turning on
• Troubleshoot leaking valves and leaking sprinkler heads
• Add new sprinkler heads and modify existing systems
• Cap off unused sprinkler heads properly
• Diagnose systems when nothing is turning on
• Install and set up rain sensors
• Install and program WiFi irrigation timers/controllers
• Troubleshoot timer/controller errors and malfunctions
• Repair and maintain drip irrigation systems
• Identify and repair broken underground pipes
• Perform full irrigation system inspections and testing
• Follow job scope and complete work efficiently and correctly
• Load/unload tools and materials as needed
• Maintain clean and professional job sites
• Communicate with team and management as needed
Skills & Experience (Preferred):
• Strong irrigation troubleshooting and repair experience
• Knowledge of irrigation controllers, wiring, valves, and system layout
• Ability to diagnose timer issues and electrical problems
• Experience with drip irrigation systems
• Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Must Have:
• Own Truck
• Valid Driver’s License or ID
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Vehicle Insurance
• Must have own tools
• Must be able to speak and understand English
• Irrigation License is a plus
• Must have pay app (CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc.)
