Role Overview:
This position is for hands-on irrigation work. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing irrigation systems while maintaining quality workmanship and professionalism on-site.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
• Diagnose irrigation system issues (leaks, broken heads, valves, wiring)
• Repair and replace sprinkler heads, nozzles, valves, and drip lines
• Install and modify irrigation systems (zones, lines, heads, drip systems)
• Set, program, and troubleshoot timers/controllers (including WiFi systems)
• Perform system inspections, startups, and shutdowns
• Identify coverage issues and make adjustments for proper watering
• Troubleshoot electrical issues (solenoids, wiring, controllers)
• Perform valve locating, repairs, and replacements
• Assist with basic drainage solutions and water flow issues
• Follow job scope and complete work efficiently and correctly
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Maintain clean and safe job sites
• Communicate with team and management as needed
Skills & Experience (Required):
• Must be a licensed irrigation technician (Texas)
• Strong experience with irrigation systems, valves, controllers, and wiring
• Experience with drip irrigation and system upgrades
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve system issues quickly
• Knowledge of drainage and water management basics
• Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather
• Dependable and able to follow directions
Must Have:
• Own Truck
• Irrigation License
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must provide SSN
• Reliable transportation
• Valid Vehicle Insurance
• Must have pay app (CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc.)
• Own tools and equipment (preferred)
