Who We're Looking for:
IMI is looking for someone who's self-motivated, and result-oriented for upcoming contracts as an Electrical Installer.
Our ideal Electrical Installer should have a high-degree of safety awareness and is a good communicator with their peers. He or she should be able to work at heights of up to 30 feet and would also be working up to 60 hours a week.
To be considered for this position, IMI is looking for those who can provide proof of a high school diploma or GED & certifications. We are also looking for someone who has one-year experience in operating forklifts and scissor lifts as well as someone who has a minimum of one year of electrical experience including hydraulic pipe bending.
If you believe you fit these criteria, you could be responsible for the following:
- Assist Electricians to install, repair, replace electrical systems, and equipment in a distribution center.
- Assisting electricians with pulling wires, installing fixtures, hydraulic bending, switches and receptacles.
- Providing electricians with materials, tools, supplies, and cleaning working areas.
Worksites can be dangerous, so in order to ensure your safety at all times, we require you always poses a hard hat, steel-toe boots, work gloves, safety vest, and work goggles.
Due to the many responsibilities we are tasking our employees with, we ask they have the following tools:

- Needle nose pliers
- Vice grips (medium)
- Small control driver
- Crimping tool
- Wire strippers
