General laborer responsible for performing all functions necessary to produce precast concrete product efficiently and safely with direction from supervisor staff. Work with employees in a team environment to accomplish required tasks.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Stripping and cleaning forms, oiling forms, preparing, and installing re-bar or reinforcing wire.
Pouring and finishing concrete in forms.
Placement of appropriate inlets and outlets.
Push, pull, lift & carry objects & materials of various weights
General clean up and supply duties on the jobsite; daily.
Help maintain equipment by keeping it clean and in proper working order.
Finish product in an attractive manner free of cracks and imperfections
Work in a teamwork environment.
Practice safety at all times including use of equipment.
Physical Demands:
Regularly requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting for prolonged periods of time.
The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands feet and fingers to handle or feel objects and must be capable of bending, reaching, and crouching.
Able to handle or feel objects and use tools and equipment and must be capable of bending, reaching, crouching, climbing, and crawling.
Must be able to manipulate shovel, pickax, and other construction equipment.
Must have command of all five senses sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
