Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Mixer Operators for a food manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible for operating mixing equipment to produce high-quality food products in accordance with safety standards and production specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food processing, safety protocols, and equipment operation, contributing to efficient manufacturing processes. Duties:
Operate various mixing and blending machinery to prepare ingredients according to product specifications
Ensure proper sanitation of equipment and work area following HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
Measure ingredients accurately using basic math skills to maintain product consistency
Monitor equipment performance, perform routine mechanical checks, and report any malfunctions promptly
Assist with food preparation tasks such as baking, cooking, or portioning as needed for production lines
Maintain documentation of production activities, including batch records and sanitation logs
Follow strict food safety protocols during handling, processing, and storage of ingredients
Support food industry compliance by adhering to all safety regulations and quality standards
Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely when required for ingredient or product movement
Collaborate with kitchen or culinary teams to ensure seamless food production flow
Requirements:
Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or restaurant environments preferred
Knowledge of cooking techniques, baking, and food handling procedures
Familiarity with HACCP, CGMP, and sanitation practices within the food industry
Mechanical knowledge related to mixing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and adjusting recipes
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper food processing methods
Ability to operate forklifts or similar machinery safely (certification preferred)
Kitchen or culinary experience that demonstrates knife skills and food preparation expertise
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required
