This small Spanish family company is located near Alicante in Spain. These fine instruments are produced in the third generation of luthiers under the management of Antonio, whose name is Jose´ Antonio Casales Mirales. The brand JOAN CASHIMIRA is derived from Antonio's full name and his guitars are sold all over the world. His workshop staff includes his sister, his nephews, and employees who all have mastered the art of making guitars.
The Model 144 is an outstanding example of his work and features a cedar top that provides an expressive and voluminous sound. The Indian rosewood back and sides give the instrument additional depth and warmth. Thanks to its balanced sound characteristics, this guitar is suitable for both classical music and fingerstyle players.
