Excellent like new condition. The Hagstrom Ultra Max is an upscale, solid-body electric guitar that builds on the compact single-cut design of the Ultra Swede. It is characterized by a slightly larger mahogany body with a flame maple top and a Fender-style 25.5-inch scale length, which makes it well-suited for drop tunings and provides a punchier attack than traditional short-scale single-cuts.

The Ultra Max features several proprietary Hagstrom innovations designed for stability and sustain:
Pickups: Equipped with two Custom 60 Alnico-5 humbuckers, which are "hotter" than the vintage-voiced Custom 58s.
Controls: Includes independent volume controls for each pickup and a master tone with a push/pull coil split to access single-coil sounds.
Neck: A slim "D" profile mahogany set-neck featuring the H-Expander truss rod for stability and a Resinator fingerboard (a wood composite) for consistent tone.
Hardware: Features a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a Sustain Block tailpiece, using individual brass string terminators to enhance resonance.
