These are LIMITED EDITION turntables, each with a unique number (which is NOT the serial number) on a plaque on the right front corner of the plinth. A limited number were manufactured and they are somewhat rare, especially NIB.
These are essentially DJ turntables - the lids are not hinged, but lift off the 'tables.
If you're a DJ looking for new 'tables, these are for you. I also bought one in navy blue, which I'm using currently. It's a great turntable.
Or if you're an audiophile or collector looking for a limited edition (of anything), these are still for you.
