Exceptional piece of European string history: a beautiful antique German violin crafted in the early 1900s at the workshop of August Wunderlich in Markneukirchen, Germany. The original internal trade label is intact and reads: "Gefertigt von Aug. Wunderlich, Markneukirchen."
Hailing from the historic capital of German luthiery, this instrument features a lovely fine-grained spruce top and a beautifully figured maple back, projecting the warm, mature, and resonant tone that only aged tonewoods can produce.
