I'm a guitarist with years of pro experience, now retired. I'm a jazz player who knows many traditional standards. I've also played and enjoyed lots of pop and non-jazz stuff as well. I just no longer want to do copies or live jukebox stuff. I want to play jazz and stretch out, especially with a jazz rock feel, or with anything that will allow me to solo using a rock sound, but with a jazz vocabulary. I read. I'd be in favor of gigs, but I'll jam, too, if anyone wants to do that. I haven't had a project for too long, and I want to be actively playing again, and not just on my couch.
