Arrow Construction Services is looking for a Safety Coordinator with commercial construction experience. We are looking for a reliable Safety Coordinator to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws. You will be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace. As a safety manager, you must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential. The goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $115,000 per year
Work Location: In person
Mandatory Requirements:
• Must have either a valid OSHA 500, 502, or 510 within the past 5 years.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish
• Must have 3 years of commercial construction safety manager experience.
• Must have practical knowledge, working experience, and documented continuing education in the areas of fall protection, scaffolding, excavations, confined spaces, crane/equipment operations, electrical, incident investigation, and other such safety/health related training.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
• Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
• Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
• Completing necessary paperwork and conducting audits

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
License/Certification:
• OSHA 500 or 502 or 510 within 5 years (Required)
• CSP from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
• Any additional designations from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
