My husband is being relocated to Washington state and we will be living in a hotel while he trains before he is permanently placed and we will be unable to bring my dog, Mia. Mia is 8 years old. I adopted her when she was about a year old, she is a boxer mix. She is super gentle and lounges most of the day but she always ready for a walk or a car ride adventure! She adores balls and like to play fetch but only for a couple minutes until she lays down to enjoy her ball solo. She does the typical and awesome boxer spins of excitement too! She likes physical attention but won’t crowd you space. She is prey oriented and will go after cats and other small animals so a home without them would be best. She is an alpha female and sometimes has a hard time meeting other dogs but i had another dog when I adopted her and they lived to get her for a few years and we’re best friends and she has stayed with friends with dogs without issue. I don’t want to rehome her but I don’t have another option :( she is crate and house trained, I leave her out when we leave sometimes and she’s never had an my issues, and she does know basic commands too. I’d love her to go to a home with a calm energy with lots of love. She’ll come with all her goodies including crate. I have her on the banfield pet insurance and she’s all up to date on everything.
