Hey, all. Not 100% sure what I'm looking for, so I thought I'd describe myself a bit and have you reach out to me! lol. I'm a gay man in my early 40's who is at a crossroads in life. I'm currently finishing out a lease at my apartment, which ends at the end of April, but I wanted to put feelers out early so as to not be scrambling last minute. I'm not interested in signing another long-term lease just yet, and I'm not interested in staying with friends. I'm open to a shared roommate situation for a few months, maybe 6 at the most unless we really just hit it off and live well together. I'm not even sure I wanted to stay in town, so I'm kind of looking for a crash pad while I figure out my next move. I have a great and stable job, so money isn't an issue. Some of you require a deposit, and I get it, but if you require a deposit I require a contract. I have a clean background, but if you require a background check, we'll have to discuss options. I understand the need for a background check, but I don't hand out my SSN to just anyone. All that said, I'm pretty easy-going, I'm clean, respectful, quiet, and kinda funny! I don't have a gender preference, but if you're a gay guy, you should know this won't be a "benefits" kind of arrangement. I found a female roommate off CL many years ago when I was in college, and it worked out really well, which is why I'm taking a shot here again. I do prefer older people, but that's not exclusive.
