I have two of these old motors. Both of them actually do run. On the black one: the carburetor needs some work. It has a brand new straight flow muffler on it. If you put a small amount of fuel in the intake on the carb and pull the starter, it starts right up and runs briefly.
The yellow one also needs some carb work. It will also start up by adding fuel into the intake port on the carburetor--then it dies, of course.
Add a centrifugal clutch on the power take-off end of the crankshaft to either one, and you would have the power for a go-kart, fast, and cheap.
I'm asking $50.00 each--or make me an offer--I can be very reasonable on these items.
