This SCHRADE CUT CO. (SCCO - Circa: 1904 - 1910s) knife model is the First Fixed Blade Knife Ever to carry the Schrade name. ((More info on this in last paragraph))

Overall length of this knife is just over 8 inches with blade just over 4 in length. These uniquely hand jigged bone handles are made with high-end and highly sought after Rogers jigged bovine bone. Rogers bone handles were selected only from aged cattle that ranged tough ranch lands in Australia making them a more dense, stronger and less likely to break, crack or chip. Rogers jigged bone handles are unmatched in quality and beauty by any of today's bone handle knives.

There are zero cracks, chips or breaks on these beautiful Rogers hand jigged bone handles and no loose parts anywhere - Everything is tight. Comes with a brass cross-guard. The full grain, thick leather sheath was made especially for this knife and is like new thus not original to the knife but a very well made custom sheath. There are no rips or tears on leather sheath and snap button on secure strap works great.

Price ((($125)))

Some Schrade History related to this knife: In 1904 Schrade Cutlery Co. opened its doors in the east coast, and this was the first fixed blade knife model to carry the Schrade Cut Co stamp - "SCCO". Schrade didn't make many fixed blade knives until later, after it changed its name to Schrade-Walden 1946 & later to Schrade USA in '73. During those two name changes came the well known Old Timer knives, that included various models of both pocket and fixed blades. Thus, this beauty is the grand-daddy fixed blade knife to all other Schrade fixed blades.
