Up for sale is a Midway Table Tennis (1972) rare electro-mechanical (EM) wall-mounted coin-operated arcade game, one of four produced by Midway that year. It features two-player, timing-based gameplay where players use remotes to volley a ball, with the motor speed increasing on perfect hits. It works similar to older pinball machines with contacts. The units originally would have had a pedestal underneath it where the coin would be deposited to obtain a game. It is missing, but you can get a credit by touching two wires together to simulate a coin triggering. A button could be installed to make it look cleaner. It looks really sharp on the wall with the retro look and bright colors. Measures approximately 46” x 30” x 6-1/2” deep.
