Hand crank ratchet up, ratchet down, or freewheel adjustments. 10 foot of chain, bicycle type chain not link chain. Apparently was used with an I-Beam to move hoist, as pic indicates. Works good, freewheel adjustment is a little tight and most of the time I have to use a pair of pliars to make adjustment. It may loosen up with some work. Plate on hoist indicates make and model. Recently oiled pulley and painted chain with diesel fuel, so she is ready for use.
