San Antonio Staffing is Currently Hiring a Carpenter.
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter specializing in a broad range of building and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various aspects of construction, cutting, measuring, and remodeling. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise, precision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. The
Responsibilities
Erect metal buildings and structures with precision and adherence to schematics and blueprints.
Execute framing tasks, including woodworking, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and drywall installation.
Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate construction activities.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for project execution.
Conduct masonry work such as bricklaying, stucco application, siding installation, and restoration projects.
Utilize hand tools effectively for carpentry, plastering, and other finishing tasks.
Assist with remodeling projects by performing demolition, framing, drywalling, and finishing.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols throughout all phases of construction.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction management with a focus on metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, or related fields.
Proficiency in operating power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawings.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the workday.
Skilled in various trades, including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), roofing, siding installation, plastering, stucco application, and restoration.
Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols.
Experience working with rebar installation and concrete finishing techniques.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
