== JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and handle single-mode & multi-mode fiber optic cables
- Build and install support structures: ladder rack, tray, Unistrut, inner-duct, and basket tray
- Pull and dress fiber cables in ISP and OSP environments
- Perform fiber splicing (ribbon and loose-tube) and terminations
- Work on data center buildouts — including cages, infrastructure, racks & equipment
- Troubleshoot, test, and verify fiber performance
- Safely operate company vehicle and equipment
== REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of commercial fiber cabling experience
- Familiar with fusion splicing and/or mechanical splicing (Swift, Fujikura, Sumitomo, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and detailed instructions
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and confined spaces
- Willingness to travel for projects and work independently or under a lead tech
- OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred)
== EXPERIENCE PLUS
- Work in chemical plants, power plants, or data centers
- Familiar with testing tools such as Fluke Versiv, DSX 5000/8000, OTDR, Power Meter/Light Source
- Knowledge of BICSI standards and commercial construction practices
