We are looking for a hands-on, highly skilled Electrical Foreman to take charge of our field operations. In this role, you will lead a team of electricians and apprentices, coordinate manpower and materials, and oversee the successful execution of commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership:
Direct and supervise a team of 5–30 electricians on site, setting daily goals and ensuring fitness for duty.
Project Management: Plan and layout conduit systems, wiring diagrams, and panel locations. Manage timelines, track progress, and coordinate with project managers.
Material Management: Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are on the job site exactly when needed.
Quality & Code Compliance: Inspect electrical work to ensure it meets quality standards, specifications, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).Safety First: Champion safety on the job site. Conduct daily safety huddles, enforce PPE requirements, and eliminate hazards.
Mentorship: Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen, fostering continuous learning and skill development.
Qualifications & SkillsLicense:
Active Texas TDLR Journeyman or Master Electrician License.Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of documented electrical field experience, including at least 1+ years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read/interpret complex construction drawings and blueprints.
Physical Requirements: Ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work at heights or in restricted spaces.
Driver’s License: Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
