We have an immediate opening for Lead hands on mechanic to assume the responsibilities of opening and closing the shop. Must have their own set of tools.
The Lead Mechanic may be assigned different duties and responsibilities to include, AC and Brake services, diagnostics and any auto repairs related to a vehicle.
Major Duties and responsibilities including:
_Using manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a car
_Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to clients
_Planning work and testing procedures using charts, experience and other organizational methods
_Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly
_Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested
_Performing basic automotive care, including changing oil and rotating tires
_Repairing or replacing worn, old or defective parts of a car
_Repairing or modifying a car to a client’s specifications, if possible
